The President of the Taqaddum Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, together with his accompanying delegation, met on Thursday with the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mr Masoud Barzani.
The meeting underlined the importance of cooperation and joint coordination between Iraq's political forces and parties, in order to support the federal government in carrying out its programme and in meeting the expectations of citizens from every component.
The meeting also addressed regional and international developments and the challenges facing the region, and stressed the importance of unifying national positions in a way that serves Iraq's interests and safeguards its security and stability.
